PARTS INVENTORY & PURCHASING MANAGER


Is required to lead department staff of 5 in all aspects of maintaining effective and efficient parts inventory processes to support Manufacturing, Parts Retail, and Aftermarket Equipment Service operations; including responsibility for
• Purchasing functions and processes
• Inventory functions, including stock levels of manufactured parts, purchased parts & supplies, inventory control and all warehouse functions.
• Parts Distribution to ELRUS Production: Calgary facilities include fabrication, mechanical & machine shops; Alymer fabrication shop.
• Parts Distribution & support for ELRUS Aftermarket , including Purchasing and Support for 3 Aftermarket branches with inventories

The successful fit with this role includes
• strong experience in industrial manufacturing, including manufactured parts
• proven ability with ERP systems on a conceptual as well as operations level is essential; we operate on SysPro 6.0
• strong background in all aspects of inventory and inventory control
• background in professional purchasing practices
• proven supervisory skills
• strong abilities and experience with all information systems requirements
• Mechanical background

As this dept is at the hub of 5 manufacturing depts working in a team environment very strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

This is a hands-on, challenging role, reporting to senior mgmt, with direct responsibility for the performance of the Parts Dept. This will involve development, implementation and analysis of key performance indicators and targets to track inventory, costs, schedule, quality and overall performance.

AFTERMARKET- PARTS MANAGER


Is required to lead and expand the corporate Parts Retail effort from the Calgary office. This role will develop a sales team to build market share & profitability on a regional and company wide basis, providing support to branch locations.

Key aspects of this role will include:

•Determining, in conjunction with the Inventory & Purchasing Manger, the inventory requirements to support & build the Parts Retail Business.
•Determining, with the support of the National Aftermarket Manager, pricing & profitability analysis, policies & procedures.
• Technical support systems & delivery for customers
• Technical support for in-house customers, including Parts Retail at branches and Aftermarket Service operations in Calgary and Ontario.
• Support for Equipment Sales personnel across the country

The successful fit with this role includes

•Ideally, a strong background in aggregate processing equipment in operations and sales. At a minimum, senior sales experience in industrial equipment &/or parts.
• Knowledge of sales processes and structures, and discipline to ensure the team is on track and on target.
• Experience with integrated information systems for parts retail and inventory control is an asset. We currently operate on SysPro 6.0
• Ability to work well in a Team environment
• Commitment to customer satisfaction
• Proven supervisory skills & an ability to mentor staff

Currently this position will lead 3 staff, with increases expected as Parts Retail is anticipated to be on a significant growth curve both in Alberta and in all branch locations.

This position works closely in a Team environment with Aftermarket Service, Equipment Sales and also Production departments. The position reports to the National Aftermarket Manager.

Outside Aftermarket Parts Sales (Guelph Ontario, Office)

We are looking for and enthusiastic on the road aftermarket sales person for the southern Ontario market. This person will have good customer relation skills and an extensive knowledge of the aggregate industry and the parts carried to keep the industry operating

This person should have at least 3 years sales experience. Salary based upon experience.
