ENGINEERING

ELRUS has complete in-house design capability within the Engineering Department. Engineering consists of a team of engineering and design/drafting personnel. The department is continually improving upon ELRUS' standard product designs to ensure maximum production, reliability, ease of use and setup, as well as safety in a portable package. Along with the standard designs, Engineering routinely accommodates custom designs to meet specific customer needs.

Engineering uses AutoCAD, the industry standard in computer drafting software. This allows us to communicate design information easily and effectively with customers as well as other equipment suppliers. When presented with customer requirements, Engineering can quickly produce drawings. This allows the customer to see what the product looks like early in the design stage, so that any necessary changes can be made before manufacturing begins.

Once the customer approves the design, Engineering produces a set of detailed shop drawings to ensure a smooth fabrication process. This is followed by the generation of a detailed Bill of Materials list, which ensures timely delivery of parts to our assembly shop. Engineering also produces a set of manuals which accompanies every piece of equipment.
